Update, .. it definitely is a font problem; my original view of Draw was
not quite accurate: Draw has a problem with images - they tend to appear
full size, instead of in the position/size set in Illustrator.

*BUT* Draw DID map the fonts correctly to another font.

So, .. while the Draw import is somewhat image-problematic, at least it
did map the fonts to something usable.
