FTR, I think I have confirmed this: When I open it in Draw, it's totally
borked (pictures are much bigger and scattered at random).
When I was creating another borked copy for a friend to look at, I move
the images aside and saw that Draw **HAD** remapped the fonts to working
versions (though the physical size was different, it could easily be
corrected).

Agreed. I suspect that Adobe has some creative security on their fonts so
that they cannot be grabbed intact.
