One of the two is a Samsung. This one, though, is not. I think it's a
Kingston.

I found a new / unused motherboard for under $80 on eBay! It's actually
a pretty sweet machine, running two 3.2GHz Xeons with 16GB RAM. I spend
a HUGE chunk of my time in xterms with vim, and it's, uh, rather
adequate. It also plows through the tiny bit of audio editing I do each
week. I certainly never tax the system. I love it in large part due to
the ECC RAM. The thing is rock-stable. Except for the networking problem
and now the dropping to ro problem.
