[GRLUG] linux move to Windows

Yeah, my assumption is that this person just got hired into the company
and knows absolutely nothing about linux and so wants to make it
windows, which they presumably have at least a passing knowledge of. It
is, of course, never a good idea to mess with something that you have no
knowledge of but therein lies the problem. If this person does not
replace the OS then there are two outcomes:

1. Death and the apocalypse when the server dies, gets rooted, or
otherwise becomes inoperative
2. They can learn linux before #1 happens.

So I suppose if they aren't smart enough to learn linux then the logical
choice is to try to recreate what the linux machine does but in windows.
Still, thats like recreating an atom bomb by just looking at one you
found laying around.
