He should also try scanning the open ports from a different box on the
network. It'll give you an idea of what services are running for the
clients. Also, I notice "ddclient" is running. Google says it's a
DynDNS client "http://ddclient.sourceforge.net/". There maybe a
Windows IIS version running under that vmware session - I don't see
Apache's "httpd" daemon running. For that matter, see what
interfaces/ip_addys that box has with "/sbin/ifconfig -a".
