For most businesses, I think M$ is the path of least resistance. Its
similar to fast-food/junk-food...
It takes care of the hunger (gets the job done)
It tastes OK but doesn't taste great
It cost too much for its value
It isn't good for you and will shorten your life
Even though there are some options, in general, the vendor knows what is
best for you.

It's never a good idea to teach to a product... Your driving
instructor doesn't teach you how to drive a 4 cylinder stick shift
ford focus, and nothing else... You learn how to drive autos in
general. Same goes for computers and software. In that sense, Linux
and OO.o are actually _more valuable_ teaching aids because they
_aren't_ what most businesses use.
