[GRLUG] ubuntu/kubuntu boot issues

I've never encountered that problem (although, by default, I believe
Ubuntu simply creates a single / partition...  so if they have an old
machine they may need to manually create /boot near the beginning of
the drive).  If that doesn't work, your disc may be corrupted.
