[GRLUG] ubuntu/kubuntu boot issues

I've done 3 installs on 3 different machines and not encountered any problem 
such as that.  In all instances I did make sure the harddrive had been 
wiped(ie, no exisiting partitions) before installing.  I also chose the 
default partition setup that the OS offered - in these cases, Ubuntu.
