Begin Rant

Glad it is working for you.   Firefox stopped working on my Mac mini.    It will launch, but no window will appear.  Updated to MacOS Catalina, Version 10.15.7, and it has been cranky ever since.   Lost my text editor, finally got Gimp working again.  Lost my Flash.   Keep getting messages to un-install Flash, and none of my browsers will run it.   Get nonsense notices that my Flash player is out of date.   The more systems get locked down to "protect" me, the less functional they become.
