[GRLUG] The Hills are Alive with Friday After...Six?

So, the weekly social is in a different place this week. It's outside! And
the time has bumped back, it's now going to be 6-8PM instead of 5-7PM.
Going to try to keep that pattern as long as weather permits. We'll
probably start hosting at VI again when it gets cold.

Also, a long, long time ago, there was discussion about rotating the
meeting locations for GRLUG so that it could hit different areas of the
city; we have people who never show unless we're down by Byron Center. We
have people who never show unless we're in Grandville. We have people who
show up here in Easttown. And I know there's a guy up in Greenville who'd
show more often if we were closer.

(Reason for moving the meeting location, at the moment, is it's become
difficult to contain my kids' messiness. So in the interests of being able
to have the whole family present...)

Time: 6PM-9PM Fridays, every week unless cancelled

Location: Highland Park. Google has the location wrong; here's a map point.

Commute: If you're driving, that map point shows where the entrance is, at
Frontage & Grand Ave. If you're walking or taking the bus, then you can
easily get to Highland Park from College Ave.

Food: Bring your own.

Entry: It's a public park. Parking entrance is at the map point. Pedestrian
entrance is anywhere there's a street. See the map.

Power and Internet: I don't know. I doubt there will be accessible outlets
turned on and available for our use; if the city parks department is doing
its job, those will be turned off unless facilities are reserved, and I
haven't reserved them. As for Internet, we'll see. Maybe someone will have
a phone hotspot they'll share. Be courteous and don't download software
updates...
