[GRLUG] keen on LVM

does anyone have experience with LVM installation (in openSUSE 12.2)? Im plenty familiar with partitioning, but I couldn’t get a /boot outside the LVM. The only ready configuration that I could get to acknowledge was having the 1TB HDD devoted to LVM w/0 extending sda 1,2,3 ect for /boot. Phenom II x4 #egrep '(vmx|svm)' /proc/cpuinfo   ,returns A-ok for compatibility. openSUSE has 1,500 pgs of PDF just studying up for future LVM & KVM setup.
