[GRLUG] Steam for Linux

[David Wise]

I've got Steam's Windows client installed on an Ubuntu box at the moment
via WINE. The client runs great, but the only game I've tried installing so
far is Portal 2. Game loads up great, and allows me to start playing, but
the moment it gets past menus and load screen I get a pure white screen and
no progress. Dunno if that's just my box though. It's pretty old. Seems
like until more games get ported to Linux, this still could be a viable
alternative to be able to play.
