[GRLUG] ritual complaint re Windows

In short, if a user creates a shortcut that points to a location that isn’t
available at the time when the weekly scheduled system maintenance task is
running, the shortcuts are considered as broken and therefore automatically
deleted.

   1. Open gpedit.msc
   2. Go to “Computer Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ System \
   Troubleshooting and Diagnostics”
   3. Double-click “Configure Scheduled Maintenance Behavior”
   4. Enable the policy and set Execution Level to “Troubleshooting Only”
