[GRLUG] An FYI - AT&T imposes byte limits

It sounds like AT&T needs to beef up their network and data connections.

I just moved back to the Grand Rapids area from Holland - and my DSL service
is bad, and unreliable - and I'm fairly positive it's all network
congestion.
My ping is great... my data transfer is ok - the connection is just very
'jittery'.
I went into my modem and tested it, I also tested my telephone line for
noise - they are both reporting an excellent connection to the node.
If I connect to my friend down the street who has DSL we can stream data to
eachother all day long without any problems.
