A better UPS might be one of the
inexpensive inverters one can get
at places like Harbor Freight, a.k.a.
the Chinese Outlet Store.  Attach it
to a car battery.

The power might not be filtered well
enough for a PC, so plug your feeble
UPS in to it, and use an outlet on that.
