What are the odds that a big Java application that currently runs on old 
Windows 2000 POS* terminals could be made to run on Linux? Especially in 
a net-boot, diskless workstation form? The java app is downloaded via a 
web address from a server if that makes a difference.

*You're welcome to translate POS as Point-Of-Sale or as something less 
complimentary. Either one would be valid.
