[GRLUG] fdisking on USB

Last time I had to fdisk a new 2.5" SSD, .. it was a SATA drive and it
appeared normally for fdisk & partimage.

Need to do an IDE now, but even though dmesg shows it detcting as sdf, sdf
is not showing in fdisk or partimage

Does anyone know the secret to get an IDE drive initialized?
