On openSUSE the python-avahi package provides the above utility.

awilliam at linux-yu4c:~> rpm -ql python-avahi
/etc/init.d/avahi-bookmarks
/usr/bin/avahi-bookmarks
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/avahi
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/avahi/ServiceTypeDatabase.py
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/avahi/__init__.py
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/avahi/__init__.pyc
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/avahi/__init__.pyo
/usr/sbin/rcavahi-bookmarks
/usr/share/man/man1/avahi-bookmarks.1.gz

python-avahi-gtk also provides a graphical (Gtk) browser for
Avahi/ZeroConf/Bonjour services [/usr/bin/avahi-discover] but it seems
to be broken on 64bit [it can't find the service-types.db file]. It is
a nice utility to explore a home network as most DVRs [such as Tivo],
printers, and misc. devices now support Avahi.
