[GRLUG] Recovering a stolen computer over the Internet

I have lurked this thread for a while and i see one thing you
overlooked.. if you stole a laptop wouldn't you wipe it?

why leave whats on it there who knows what smart person like us would
have installed to spy on the thief.?
