[GRLUG] 11/23 7:00PM GRLUG Meeting at BCCS

Per previous postings, I am planning to host the next GRLUG meeting at Byron
Center Christian School to showcase an entire-school (student labs)
conversion from M$ to Ubuntu clients and server.  Included will be a
demonstration of "multi-seat" Linux, where more than one (four, in our case)
monitor/keyboard/mouse/usbhub sets are connected to one PC - each running
their own X server.  Similar to the www.userful.com product, but a purely
open source implementation.

Based on a survey of suggested dates, Monday November 23 at 7:00PM EST has
been selected (EST just in case any of you are living your life in UTC he he
he)

All are welcome.  Only a half dozen selected this date, but I would hope
that any who RSVP'd, and *anyone* else interested would come.  I'll gauge
refreshments for about a dozen of us.  I'll email the other 6 who selected
other dates to either confirm that you might be able to come on the 23, or
arrange a supplementary private showing.

park in either parking lot, and walk to the flag pole.  That's the walkway
to the entrance.  I'll have a sign on the door telling you to hang a right
inside the building toward the media center.

The BCCS campus is a non-smoking campus.  Sorry in advance.
