[GRLUG] shopping for linux-compatible hardware

I've been satisfied with the linux systems i've gotten from Dell.  Both server, desktop, and laptop.

We use AMDs all the time, so that's not really an issue; you're more
likely to have problems with graphics cards.

We find it easiest to just burn a LiveCD and try it.
