The article indicates the school's plan is to "load Linux and an operating
system that mimics ME (a program known as an emulator) onto the school
computers so that students can use established ME programs".  My guess is the
$0.50 (when did the cent sign get removed from keyboards?) per seat licensing
fee is for CodeWeavers so the school can run a Windows program.  It mentions a
certain program for grading and such.

BTW, they still run Windows ME!?  They would have to scrap virtually the entire
PC to upgrade to XP or Vista.  Could they even use the power supply?  Yikes.
