[GRLUG] install of Core 3 on a Libretto 110CT

hi guys,

i was given this little Toshiba laptop thing a Libretto 110 CT, and i want
to get Core 3 on it (actually have a bet with a co-worker, he says i cant)
anyway

i dont know if any of you guys have ever seen or used one of these devices,
yet its not a device question i have anyway

this device has no Floppy or CDROM so to do the install i pulled the 2.5"
hard drive and dropped it into a different laptop

did a auto-partition and installed very few modules pretty much very XFce,
firefox, and a couple edtitors

i booted it once and edited inittab to runlevel 3

i put the drive back in the device, and tried to boot

it tries to load the kernel then re-boots, and just loops

i was wondering if any of you have seen an install try to load the kernel
and re-boot

and/or if anyone has an idea of what i should look at
