My file browser tells me there's a folder called 0403-0201 at
/media/eric. When I look via terminal I see this:

root@eric-XPS-9315:/media/eric# cd 0403-0201
root@eric-XPS-9315:/media/eric/0403-0201# ls -al
total 8
drwx------ 2 root root 4096 Jan 9 06:12 .
drwxr-x---+ 3 root root 4096 Jan 11 22:14 ..
root@eric-XPS-9315:/media/eric/0403-0201# du -sh
4.0K

When I open nemo as root, the sidebar at "File System" tells me via
a popup that there are 629.3GB of free space in the filesystem.
"Properties" for the folder at /media/eric labeled 0402-0201 tells
me that it has 629.3GB of free space. If it made any sense I would
conclude that the entire FS is also mounted at /media/eric. ????
But that directory 0403-0201 includes 0 items according to nemo...

Any ideas as to what it really is and how it got there?

(At one point tonight I was doing rdiff-backup to a USB disk when
the computer froze up. When I restarted, rdiff-backup went through a
long " "Previous backup seems to have failed, regressing destination
now." Just mentioning this but I don't see how it would have
anything to do with the appearance of this zombie folder. According
to the file browser, that folder has been there since 6am last
Monday morning (the 9th).)

In any case, should I just delete the zombie folder?

I'm running Ubuntu 20.04 on Dell XPS.

Thanks.
