If you are looking for something like VNC/Remote Desktop, X2Go is pretty
great (https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:newtox2go).

For ease of use, you can set up VNC and put an Apache Guacamole server (
https://guacamole.apache.org/) in front of it. The Guacamole server works
as the repeater and offers a web-based client. It can also handle SSH and
RDP if that's helpful.
