IT Director
Location: Zeeland MI

Summary Statement

The IT Director is responsible for managing all aspects of IT operations.
This includes managing, leading, and training internal staff and managing
external vendor relationships, internal infrastructure, information
security, communications technology, and asset management. The IT Director
is responsible for designing and implementing improvements to all areas of
technology including automation, ERP system performance and function, and
system integration. This position is responsible for staying up-to-date on
technology trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

Responsibilities

   1.

   Communicate and collaborate as a member of the Senior Management team to
   establish IT strategy, goals, and priorities as well as to define expected
   outcomes, identify issues, and resolve through corrective action.
   2.

   Prepare, recommend, budget and perform cost/benefits studies which are
   aligned with the annual and long-term strategic objectives of the company.
   3.

   Design, lead, and manage technology projects using applicable project
   management platform and practices.
   4.

   Lead, coach and develop a passionate, engaged team. Provide leadership,
   direction and best practices to the IT team.
   5.

   Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications
   and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
   6.

   Identify new technologies and determine applicability to the
   organization's long-term needs and goals and make recommendations for
   adding or consolidating technologies accordingly.
   7.

   Establish and maintain strategic relationships with third party vendors
   and technology partners that bring added value to the organization.
   8.

   Provide leadership and management for the day-to-day operations of the
   Information Technology Department.
   9.

   Manage ERP System
   10.

   Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery
   procedures and plans.
   11.

   Plan, implement and monitor changes in infrastructure configurations.


Qualifications:  Required Education and Experience

   1.

   5+ years experience managing a team
   2.

   10+ years IT experience required
   3.

   Experience in manufacturing or fulfillment preferred
   4.

   3-5 years budget and planning experience preferred
   5.

   Oracle or similar database experience required
   6.

   ERP system experience required
   7.

   Hardware experience required
   8.

   Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred or additional work
   experience
   9.

   Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
