Subject: Re: [GRLUG] Linux Biolinum font on Mac
Thanks for the suggestions. My question, though, was whether anyone knows where it might be sitting on the Mac such that LibreOffice can use it (for new docs, not just old docs from the Linux box) but Scrivener and Word don’t see it.
I’ve now found a LinBiolinum_R.woff in my “eric” directory. I’m guessing that maybe LO can “see” it and use it there but Scriv and Word can’t.
All that being said, while Biolinum is said to be “Optima-like”—which is why I installed it on Linux in the first place--it is not as elegant as Optima, which I can use directly on the Mac.
