[GRLUG] Text only printers

One cheat I have used in the past is a serial to Ethernet converter to
replace a serial port printer.  The converter sends serial data streamed
over a TCP socket.  You can use netcat to dump this stream to a flat file
or a simple script can convert to syslog.

Other option might be a receipt printer.  They are easy to use and get
paper for.
