[GRLUG] VNC Replacement

Haven been useing different combinations of VNC and RDP for many years, ..
but it gets to be a headache configuring connecitons to disparate machines
(i.e. Linux -> Windoze).

Thinking about a new tablet for my Mom, but there does not seem to be any
good solution for Linux -> Android remote support.

Has anyone run across a good solution that works between all platforms
(i.e. Linux, Windoze, Android)? Have looked at TeamViewer, and it is a
pretty nice product, but $1500 is a little steep for family support.
