They certainly do.  $70 got me some TP-Link WNR3600(?) wireless
routers recently.  580Mhz MIPS machines w/128Mb ram, 5x gigabit
ethernet ports, dual 300Mbit/s N radios, and 2x 480Mbit/s USB2 ports.
They're significantly more capable than the 200Mhz / 32Mb ram /
12Mbit/s USB machines of yesteryear.
