[GRLUG] Thunderbird not leaving mail on server

I thought I had set up my Thunderbird mail on my Win box to leave the
mail on the server so it would then download to my main linux box. But
now I'm finding that the mail, once downloaded to the Windows mail,
isn't coming to the Linux box. When I look under tools/account settings,
I can't find the usual checkbox to "leave mail on server." Why would
this be gone?
