[GRLUG] Certificates for WSUS LUP

Has anyone created their own 'updates' and published them via Windows
Update Server's support of Local-Update-Publisher?   

We are trying that and have a problem getting the create-update feature
to sign the package as it creates the CAB.  It always fails with
package/certificate verification.

I assume the problem is in the SSL certificate; does it need any
specific provisions or options?  I have verified that the
intended-purpose of the certificate is set to "all".

Certificates were created with openssl.
