No disagreement there... I'm just happy to be on the greener side of the 
fence.  Up until maybe a year ago, whenever I did an upgrade and saw a kernel 
update come across, it was hold-your-breath time when doing a reboot.  Could 
be coicidence, but it seemed that once the DKMS stuff came along that 
everything "just worked".
