Pretty pricey, .. is that a multiline system? Seems a bit pricey.

We have had a Uniden system for many years with six phones. The base 
only has simple functions for VM retrieval, everything is done 
through the handsets. IIRC, it was $70 for the first four phones 
(including one waterproof for outside).

DECT 6.0 is the current standard, but beware - range is VERY limited 
by a building! Our range limit is about 70' through four walls.
