If this is high-end server hardware (hey, it's an HP-Proliant. Of
course it is.), it should have ECC memory, and firmware and hardware
infrastructure for error reporting.

Try some searches for 'ecc memory check debian' or 'mce machine-check
exception debian' on the various search engines.
