Appreciate the info!

Looked for irqbalance in /etc/init.d, nada;  There appears to be no 
irqbalance kernel module (loaded or not), the only reference on the 
system seems to be part of SELinux?

One of the first things I did was disable SELinux, so it would not be an issue?
