Had very good luck with my Sprint Evo & Wireless Tether, .. I had to 
root mine (last December), but I believe that Sprint now allows installation.

I also agree on the 4G service! About the only time I used 4G service 
succesfully was at the ballpark - 3G data was hammered, but 4G was plentiful.
