I used Thunderbird the last time I regularly used NNTP. I'd probably
go back to it. I never did get the hang of regular use of NNTP; it
wasn't always easy finding an intentionally free, open NNTP server I
could get in through. I did spend a huge amount of time on
comp.os.linux.misc in college via Google Groups, though.
