[GRLUG] audio questions.

I'm looking for suggestions for two
audio related items:

*  An audio editor, so that I can input, say,
   an MP3 or OGG file and just keep the parts
   I want.

*  A way to store the audio out signal  to a
   file, no matter what the source - i.e., as
   long as it's headed for the audio out (green)
   connector, I want to be able to copy that
   signal to a file.
