[GRLUG] e-Books rule at Amazon

Calibre is awesome, and also serves as a great desktop eBook reader on
both Windows and Linux. It ties in comfortably with the BN nook and
has explicit support for large number of other devices.

The one thing I don't like about it is the frequency of updates. It's
an incredibly active project, and each time I launch it (at work,
probably once or twice a week), it notifies me of a new version for
download.

It also supports converting between formats, although that gets a bit
arcane. I'll *eventually* manage to convert ImageMagic docs and the
C++ standard to ePub, but I haven't managed to get good results yet.
