Which seems entirely reasonable to me.  [A 250GB gap seems generous for
a residential service, so that causes me no concern at all.]

As a U-verse customer I find the performance to be quite reliable and
have no latency issues. 

If you want commercial-grade services, even services supporting QoS,
such services are available in most locations;  crack open the wallet.
