[GRLUG] To Raid, or not to Raid, that is the question.

I'd also agree with using md software RAID on linux over any hardware
controller. And having the server several hours away is definitely a
good reason to use RAID in the first place.
Backup is also very important, but as others have said, it can be done
over the net to something remote.
