It's very unstable (at least in a VM).  e17 is not ready.  Still.  After
a decade.  I used to follow its development closely (frequently
recompiling to stay current).  It's a crapshoot.  It's amazing what it
can do on low-end hardware (no, really; it's incredible) but it's not
stable.  Bodhi is a great way to try e17, but if you like stability you
will be disappointed.
