Pardon the interruption, but earlier today I spoke with a client here in *Grand
Rapids, Michigan* that is looking to hire a permanent *PHP / MySQL
Lead Developer.*   I am networking with professionals like yourself in the
that space to find the person who would be interested in this role.

The company is an industry leader in their market.   They currently have
several external customer-facing websites that are based in PHP / MySQL
technologies and are looking to continue to develop and evolve those sites
as well as develop some new web-based solutions.

They are looking for someone with solid PHP / MySQL development skills as
well as experience with HTML, CSS, JSP, etc.  They are also looking for some
eCommerce experience.    Most importantly, they are seeking an individual
with excellent communications skills who is comfortable working directly
with business users to gather requirements and develop creative solutions.
This individual will interface directly with the CFO, VP of Marketing,
marketing staff, other IT staff members and others in the company.

This is a small team and this person will help hire a more junior developer
and help lead the activities of that person.   For the most part, this
person needs to be self-directed and able to take a project from inception
to implementation.

This is an immediate, permanent, direct-hire opening with my client.
They've hire me to help screen and qualify candidates that are interested in
the role.
