[GRLUG] Joining the mailing list

Just wanted to check on something based on some input from the #grlug 
channel.  When I signed up for the mailing list, I seem to remember it 
being pretty much instant - no need for approval or anything.  However, 
looking at the mailing list sign-up form, list joining seems to be 
moderated and need manual approval.

Why did this change, and when?
