[GRLUG] my microphone

Alrighty, I have a Dell E6400 laptop andI'm running Arch Linux.  I can't 
get any microphone to work, whether the internal one or the mic port.

I've done a ton of research, and tried dozens of things to no avail.

It works flawlessly in Ubuntu.

I've ignored it for months now, but I may need to do some recording soon.

You guys want to try helping me figure out what's up?
