[GRLUG] Best hardware for Linux

These days, nearly everything likely to be found in a laptop or
desktop is well supported.  Even Broadcom - the last holdout in
wireless chipsets has offered up an open source driver.  The only
hardware I can think of that's worth avoiding any more is this:

Avoid those few particular chipsets like the plague.

All other CPUs, graphics chips, audio hardware, wireless chips,
network adapters, storage adapters, etc that I can think of off hand
are well supported.
