VirtualBox works pretty nicely on OpenSuSE, .. best to have
hyperthreaded HW (AMD AM3, IIRC).

If you want a 'server' solution (i.e. data center ), you might have
to go to a commercial product - none of the Open Source tools (Xen or
VMWare) for bare metal install include a manager.
OTOH, if you're talking one or two VMs on a box at a customer site,
VirtualBox is a good solution [assuming Oracle won't muck with it].
