I cannot speak for e18 bt.  I know it is possible, and likely not hard.  
Prob plug and play with *buntu.

I am startign to hack a sony ps3 bt remote for use with Moovida on 
ubuntu and out of the box thre are some signs of life.  Have more work 
to do.
