[GRLUG] Your most interesting application of Linux

What has been your most interesting application of Linux? Something
that you used Linux to accomplish.

For me, that's probably been my multi-role desktop box, dodo, which
serves as a HTPC, media editor, workstation, router and print server.
The HTPC side of things has probably been its most interesting role,
as I've shuffled around between programs like rhythmbox, mediatomb
feeding a PS3, shell scripts controlling mplayer and ripping tools,
and, most recently, freevo.
